[Ducati] Marchesini Wheels for 900SS

Howdy all.

Anyone know if when the marchesini wheels designed for a 900SS with
ELECTRONIC speedo are installed on a MECHANICAL speedo'd bike if the
result is anything other than loss of a speedo???

Like, if I got them for my 1992 944SS would they work/fit at all?
Hell, my speedo is way off anyways and I can live without it (famous
last words).
