[Ducati] Dorna proposes control tire rule

Rossi was also quoted later in Cycle news as saying the problem is the
Yamaha wasn't enough to compete with. And Yamaha had already acknowledged
that in essence by changing to pneumatic springs during the season, plus
many other changes as well. Honda has also been doing their homework and
going faster, even setting top speed. They were anxious to sign Pedrosa
again, and he waited to see if they could develop the bike a bit. Ducati may
not have such an easy time next year, but this year they surprised everyone,
and everyone knows its not the tires, any more than its the tires in AMA
(aka Yoshi Suzi cup). Yet the recent Roadracing World had a statement saying
that tires decide AMA and MotoGP championship, but nothing inside to back
the statement up.
