10-4 on that.  I'm kinda sorry I sold my 750 Monster for the same reason.
My ST4s is definitely faster and a lot easier on the back, but boy was the
old Monster fun to thrash.  Vision blurring, pegs scraping, pipes bellowing
kind of fun......and if my friends failed to keep up I could really rub it
in, not that I would of course..Moonbeam
