Paul,
Definitely tape both sides, use sharp bits, but MAKE SURE that you wear a
good mask, and not just one of those paper painting mask. CF is more than
just not so good to breathe. It's very hazardous. For other folks who may
have to drill larger holes, your 2 choices are drill a smaller hole then
work out with a Dremel or to use a diamond hole saw (muy expensive). A
toothed hole saw will just shred your carbon.

Use a dremel and hi speed and should have no issues, so I would not exactly
drill it which is fairly low speed compared to dremel. With a Dremel and
carbide bur you can shape hole however you would like and it will be
wonderful. I use this technique to shape carbon fiber ass well as drill
holes. I would wear a dustmask as some carbon fiber gives up a bit of dust
esp at hi speeds of Dremel, aka 25,000rpm. I hear the dust is not so good to
inhale. :( Rich

Paul,
Just got a new Sebimoto hugger from Yoyodyne.
It's not predrilled.
Any big deal to drilling holes in CF?
