[Ducati] Drilling CF

Paul,

Just got a new Sebimoto hugger from Yoyodyne.
It's not predrilled.
Any big deal to drilling holes in CF?

I've never drilled carbon fiber, but aside from being absolutely sure
you get your hole locations correct, if it were me I'd put masking tape
over the hole locations and drill thru the tape to avoid splintering.
I'd also start with a small drill bit, like a number drill, and move up
gradually so that you're not taking one big bite out of the carbon
fiber.  Use fresh, sharp bits so that they cut well and cleanly.  Those
would be my suggestions.
