Only in the very marginal sense of lighter weight. But, the combination of
all those changes to the bike gave it an estimated 85-90 hp at the rear
wheel. That estimate was given to me by Bruce Myers at BCM. That was just
his seat of the pants guess based on his experience with previous modified
SS's. It was never dynoed. As I recall, there was a significant increase in
performance gained by putting the carbs on the short stacks.
