Well I was hoping the question would offer another perspective. That being, 
if Stoner was on the Yamaha, how would he have fared this year? I have 
nothing but admiration and respect for Rossi, Stoner and all those other GP 
riders who are the best of the best. But, IMHO, (and this is gross 
supposition) I could easily imagine Stoner not being in the top 5 if he were 
riding the Yamaha. I don't for a minute think racing is only about the 
rider. But, if all the riders in GP were riding, let's say, the same Honda, 
who would you put your money on to win?  That being said, it is a team sport 
and much respect for Ducati and Stoner.
