Good call Ron. Looking for a 12mm adapter, and I'll see what it shows.
The vertical cylinder measured .065" of head-to-piston clearance at the
edges of the piston. The horizontal cylinder measured .066" in the same
place.
You are right. The lean situation makes sense for the horizontal
cylinder. The 11:1 pistons should be pulling more air, overwhelming the
existing jets (which worked for standard pistons) The vertical cylinder
being rich indicates something may be rotten in denmark.
