[Ducati] NBC - Sport Classic stand

George,

Nope, no rides of the Albuquerque scenery, yet. The SS is still in the
garage in Chattanooga (in one mangled piece after a get-off at DHW if
nobody told you) so I haven't had a chance yet. I hope to get her out
here sometime this winter and be able to ride a little next spring if
all works out well (that is, if we can sell the house in
Chattanooga....the wife is still there sitting with the house until it
sells). The real estate market is kinda poor right now, and doubly so
in Chattanooga which has a pretty slow growth rate in a good year, so I
don't hold out much real hope of a sale in this year.

I've been eyeing a 2006 Sport, though, and I hope to buy something new
in the next few months, too. The Hypermotard has its allure, too, but I
can't commit until I ride one. We'll see.

Be sure and stop by if you're in NM. The Balloon Fiesta is going on
now, so it's a cool time to be in Albuquerque.

Cheers,

Cloner
Albuquerque, NM

Hey Cloner -
I just figgered a guy with an MBA could afford to buy his own toys. I'm
waiting for Andy to get tired of his Desmosedici (once he gets it).
How's
'bout a ride report on the local Albajerky roads? Have ya taken any of
the
locals to school yet?

Missin' ya already at DFS. A group of us had our Friday ride thru the
local
back roads. Nobody crashed. I guess I am just not as fast as you are.

I would think that a guy with your financial resources would just retire
the bike to a pal who recently moved to New Mexico and buy a new one
rather than change a tire! Maybe buy a Desmosedici that you can throw
at him when you wear out the shoes on that? I'm kinda disillusioned.

The front tire on Da Bus Jr. is fading fast. What are you other SC
owners
using for a front stand? I have Googled and not found anything that
looks
like a slam dunk.

I already have a pair of Pit Bulls (rear and forklift). Has anyone tried
the
Duc Superbike attachment for the forklift?
