[Ducati] Getting a bike titled with only a bill of sale

That's who I use as well. Old bikes are not much problem. New bikes you  need 
to file for a duplicate title first, then with that in hand you can do  
whatever you need from there.  When I am working with a new-ish bike in the  state 
of Florida I use a local title clerk. This in my opinion is money well  spent. 
If you have a dealer you use, you might want to ask them who they use, a  lot 
of the time it's an outside independent person who stops by weekly.  
Generally if the title clerk is doing motorcycle dealership work, they have the  depth 
of knowledge to address any pitfalls before they occur.
