[Ducati] Question on fuel tanks and range between fillups

I have an S4Rs with the Termignoni full exhaust system/ECU.

The light comes on at ~90 miles on average (during a trackday, i got the low fuel light after about 70 miles) and once it's on... you are lucky to get more than 20 miles out of it. I learned this the hard way. Even when stock, I was lucky to get more than 100 miles before seeing the light come on

Range on this bike is quite poor and the 3.6-gal. (mfr. specified capacity) is quite small. I've
never been able to get more than 3.4-gal. into it, even when emtpy
(i.e., engine no longer runs and it is time to push).

I'd also be interested in hearing what other S4Rs owners, stock or otherwise, are experiencing.

Subject: [Ducati] Question on fuel tanks and range between fillups

Given the notoriously inaccurate nature of the low-fuel warning light on Ducati motorcycles, I was wondering what type of real-world range anyone has gotten on the following:
ST3, 1098s, Monster S4rs
I get furstrated having the low fuel lights (or the gauge read low on the ST3) come on at about 100 miles, yet the bikes only taking 2 gallons of gas, implying we could have gone 200 miles. Of course, I don't want to carelessly go 200 miles and run out of fuel.
So, what type of range has anyone gotten from these machines?
Thanks!
Beppe
