[Ducati] other variables for missing voltage?

Sounds to me like the battery (had a similar problem on my SP)

Do you have a battery tender for your bike? How long does it sit between
rides?

Subject: [Ducati] other variables for missing voltage?

Hi, I know this thread has come up before so hopefully it's an easy one to
diagnose. I've got a new battery, new voltage rectifier (3 stage) and no
known issues besides this on my 04 749. The issue is low voltage when I
start the bike. I've charged the battery three times already and each time
it's fine for the first day then right back down to approximately 11.8 to
12.5 volts (it jumps around within 5 seconds) and barely gets the bike
started (sometimes it doesn't). Colder weather seems to hinder it also
(making me think faulty battery) however occasionally while riding I can see
the volts drop below 13 even while spinning along at 45 or even 55mph.
I bought a voltage meter, but don't know where to start, if that's the
best first step. Any advice?

Thanks,

Adam
