Are the headers SS? If so I polished mine on my 02' M900 when I prepared it for the Monster Challenge. Bought some buffing wheels for my drill from Sears and the black and white rouge, took awhile but the results was worth it. I had a ceramic coated pipe on one of my other Vtwins and did not hold up well to the weather and a buddy had his Multi-strada pipe jet hot coated which did not do well in the rain. Meanwhile the M900 pipes look great except the crossover which I had jet hot coated silver, because it looked like I would not able to polish it. I will be pulling that and polishing it as well, along with the pipes on my ST3. - Gene
