Hi W,
I don't really have any answers to your questions at this point in time as I
am just about to install the engine in the frame and subsequently the pipe.
I bought it used , the guy I bought it from cut the frame behind the 2
rearmost mounts for the seat/sidepanels. He said it wasn't necessary but
everyone usually does for weight etc. If I don't have to I won't cut the
frame.
It came with one bracket which clamps to the frame and to the end of the
"silencer".
I'll keep you posted as I progress
