"How are the ductile iron under rain, just rusty"

Ductile iron is superior in all respects to SS, wet or otherwise IMO. They
will rust, but only the portion that is not swept by the pads. The rust can
be wiped off easily.

My old Bev. Drv. 900 came with iron rotors as did the Guzzi lemans of the
day while other brands came with SS. They were the best brakes of the day as
I recall.

By the way do you already have carbon wheels on you st4s? Seems like overall
performance of the bike would be enhanced more with super light wheels
rather than rotors. I like the idea of the carbon/ceramic rotors, but $1100
a piece is a little expensive. Course $3600 for wheels is high too.

A switch to radio 4 pad (maybe monoblock) calipers also might make sense.
The brakes on my s4rs, radial four pads (carbon/ceramic) and iron rotors
perform soooo well I can't imagine needing more stopping power for the
street, or track for that matter.
