My bet's on the ring.??I neglected to pull that out once, and the tire guy?threw it on the machine and smashed the 'ears' on the ring flat.?I still didn't even notice until I took it for a spin after putting the wheels back on and the speedo didn't work.? Just bent the ears back out, and all was good.

I had the front tire replaced at the local dealer about a week ago.
The speedo doesn't work now, and, honestly, I didn't notice whether it did
or not when I rode it the couple of miles it took to get home.
I checked the cable, and it seems fine.
Was the drive just not reassembled properly when the wheel was remounted?
Is it likely that any damage was done?
