Subject: [Ducati] Bimota's new Ducati-Powered DB7—and racing plans!
Hey, I know there are a few other bimota enthusiasts on the list...just
heard about this from the bimota list:
"Bimota will present during the forthcoming milan fair the new db 7
powered by a ducati 1098 engine. The plan is to participate the Italian
Superbike Serie civ and — with some wildcards — the World SBK.
Actually the factory is talking to some pilots and teams.
The future will bring a permanent participation at the World SBK.
The bike will show some bimota-typical detail solutions and a lot of
high-tech parts. The weight should be 175 kg. The engine will be a soft
modded 1098 with some additional power.
Bimota will offer the bike in two versions: a road-legal and a race
type with full 1200ccm engine."
Here's a couple of photos:

Visually, I like where this is going ! And pretty exciting that bimota
could be back in WSBK...on a Ducati powered bike!
