Well, something priced in the $40k range has to be either an "R" or a
high-end touring bike.  Now for my own garage on the other hand, give me a
reasonably-priced S/C-F1 Tri-Color.  Pretty please...

Ducati has introduced a lot of new bikes and niche market bikes, Classic
line and Hyper line, 1098.   There is still a need for a lower cost "sport"
bike so my guess is that they might be adding a new SuperSport bike to the
line up....it is needed in the market as they have sold a lot of them in the
past and I think the volumes support it.
   
  I hope so since I ride a 92 white frame and love its simplicity...and
sound!
