About the sidestand, the bike can be adjusted for ride height front and rear but the sidestand stays the same length so I suspect that your bike is setup "tall".  You can adjust the front and rear ride height, which leads to a whole new can of worms, or be careful where and how you park it.  FYI my ST4s is "short" so I have to be careful not to park it aimed the right way on crowned roads or it will just fall over.  Moonbeam
