Hi  Don,

Like you said "A" SBK race cancelled
and of all the races at Silverstone
although some races were lap shortened it was only the 2nd SBK
race that was axed.
After a 30 minute delay waiting for the weather to ease off  ( it  
didn't )
Think it was a riders final say so after doing a sighting lap.
Just way'yyyy too much standing water - they would have dropped like  
bowling pins.

Nice to see the 1098 of Brendan Roberts take a win in the FIM  
superstock race too  :-)
Even more remarkable considering he was riding with a pinned wrist.

My take on all this is
Hopefully they'll organise another venue for 2008
Bands Hatch or Donnington gets my vote  :-)

Sliverstone is a crap circuit to reach by road.
A crap circuit to view the racing at and the the riders don't like it  
much either
because of all the short straights and lack of overtaking opportunities.

Would be interesting to have 3 SBK races at the next meeting to make up
for the cancelled one  :-)
Now "That Would" sort the men from the boys   ROFL
