I have a Xena disk lock alarm and except for the fact that it eats 
batteries, it works quite well.  It uses the button-type, forget 
which model.  i found a vendor on ebay who sold them by the 100 for 
about $15 and solved my problem.

it is ridiculously loud, but once wet, quite useless.
