Roger:
I put an 05 999R 57mm system on my 04 999S. It was a very close fit in a 
couple of places.
The system worked well with no computer glitches. It was a little rough 
idling (like a big cam idle).
However, it ran great (1500rpm up). I since sold it for a 07 S4RS (also with 
the termi system).
Section 8 Ducati Cycle (check the web) gave me good free advice. There are 
some bargains on left over systems,
if you look around.
