I was thinking the same exact thing but was not willing to offer it to the
list.  This Loris mentoring Stoner took on a life of its own only on this
List.  Funny how that happens.  I've heard it many times before, and agree
with it, as a racer, the first thing you want to do is beat your teammate.

Am I the only one that thinks the logic of Capirossi mentoring Stoner is  
unlikely?  What am I missing here? I have never seen anything to indicate
this 
in the press, and certainly never heard it from any other source. In fact,
at 
this point, with Capirossi's number one spot on the team in serious jeopardy

to the new kid I'd be surprised if they were anything short of cold towards

each other regardless of how the deal started out. No inside knowledge
needed - 
 nobody likes to get spanked from day one by the new kid, it's the way of
the 
 world.
