not my bike, it's a customers.  one who will leave with a running, usable bike and a bad taste in his mouth from the bill he didn't expect when he bought it in no doubt.

i wouldn't worry too much.  chrome bores should be ok.  if it turns over, ride it.  maybe crank it with the plugs out to get oil pressure and then fire it up.  nothing you do will be made any worse by trying it out and seeing what happens.
