> Hi Steven!
Like you last February I past the one year milestone, dealing with a
cancerous kidney that had to be removed from inside of me. I'm now sitting
at home like you recovering from having some cancer removed from my Bladder
and Prostrate. Isn't life funny?
It's all good though as they got it all! We'll see what the future
holds...more than likely it will hold a lot of fun! : )
Just when you think you've kicked some butt, life reminds us, that we still
have a butt to be kicked!
As soon as I heal I'm going to do as many trackdays as possible across the
western USA! Then see if I can secure a ASMA or CCS license and run F40. I'm
sure I'll have fun and make many new friends, besides getting another Ducati
on the track where it belongs.
My 999R is now a track bike only, I purchased a used 06 650R Kawasaki to get
me back into shape after my first bout with the big "C". I can run it in a
stock spec class at ASMA.
I need to finish my two project bikes, I have all the bits, but never found
time to assemble them when I was helping others Ducatisti here in Phoenix or
finding my self recuperating from being sick. I have brought a new trailer
large enough to haul all four of my bikes with me to the different tracks. I
also picked upped a used F350 4x4 diesel to haul the trailer with as well.
I'm a man on a mission!
I know your locked in....and can't get out! Start making plans for whatever
it is you want or can do in life that makes you happy!
Like you, while watching crappy reruns, my mind is going a 100 mph figuring
out just what I going to do when I'm out!
Good luck and I wish you the best!
I'm sure you'll be back at what you love soon.
Hell, you own a Ducati! : ) You have to be one tough dude!
