You must ride that SS hard if all you can get from an M-3 is 4K.  That's about what I used to get from my M-1s on a heavier, higher horspower bike ridden as hard as I dare.  Moonbeam

I've got one on the back os my SS. It's OK, but will be replaced with a 
PP-2CT once it wears out at 3K (1 K to go).
