Sounds good Ray--we'll start with your Darmah ;-)

I pulled the gaskets out, one of 'em's toast, so now it's just a hunt for replacements (and some fasteners that don't look like they've been in a fish tank) and I'm good to go.  I've answered my own question on the gaskets.  I can't imagine how difficult it'd be to undo if someone made the mistake of putting sealant in there--access isn't easy.
