Hey all,

Been off the list for several years and just resubscribed to get some assistance. I'm rebuilding the motor on my 900SP and was hoping to get some tidbits of knowledge from those that have done it in the past.

I'm completely torn down at this point, so I'm in need of the following:

* Complete gasket kit- I'm told that a top end kit is only needed now. Yamabond, Hondabond etc. can be used for the cases.
* Shim kit for adjusting crank preload (this requires twice assembling/disassembling the cases, adjusting shim heights for fit)
* Main and rod bearings- need part numbers if you have them and approx. cost
* Any special requirements for Hi-comp piston kit (is FBF kit still the recommended or is there something better out there?)

Those are it for now. Like I said, if anyone has any other special experience to share I'd appreciate it. This is my first Ducati teardown and I've already learned they require special attention.

Thanks,

Mike
