[Ducati] Importing a newer bike: Your experience with Ducati

I have a homologation document from Ducati for a 2001 996.  headlight 
and speedometer are all that's changed for DOT.  Other stuff for EPA 
on that model (ECU for one)

If the guy in the link imported R versions and did not put on turn 
signals, that definitely gets him.

that stinks, i bet the bikes wree high end. MV's too.
