[Ducati] Michelin Pilot Power 120/70ZR17 recall

The local shop here in Tallahassee (Fast Trix not the factory dealer) that
installed my new Pilot Power about a month ago called me at home yesterday
and asked me to go check my bike tire as he was placing an order with
Michelin for replacement tires. He told me that only the tires with made in
France stamped on them are subject to the recall. Mine has made in Spain
stamped on it so it is not subject. I believe his intent was to replace mine
if it was subject.

After riding the absolute sheit out of one that I had just put on last
weekend I called the Michelin number in Greenville, SC (35 mi. from here).
They said no big deal and no failures had been noted as of yet, but go to
any Michelin dealer and they would replace it.

Friday after work I stopped by and asked the dealer I purchased from and
they said they didn't know what Michelin was going to do, but indications
were that the tires would be replaced and install would be included.
There're "going to get back with me". I rode the hell out of it again this
weekend. I don't mind getting killed, I just don't want to get hurt. Hope we
hear something soon.
