I can only watch this thread with frustrated amusement. I've had year after
year of stuck floats, poor running and a leak just like yours. 3 years in a
row the horizontal cylinder broke a stud on the first firing of the spring.
It's almost July and it's still under the cover from last October, guess
love is only blind for so long. I know I need to get some new brass
thingies for the carbs and all will be better, but I'm not sure I can muster
the effort of taking the air box off for the millionth time. I did epoxy my
cracked part and it worked well.
