[Ducati] GP spoiler

hey there Peter!

The other factor, (and not a small one), is the current crop of tires under
the new rules. Bridgestone is getting it really right...and Michelin is
currently, uncharacteristically, off the back...especially with their
intermediates. Rossi's rear tire was shagged beyond comprehension. Once the
track started to dry...both he and Edwards were going backwards. Edwards in
2nd, Rossi in 4th and Pedrosa in 8th were the only Michelin runners in the
top 12!, (umm....Kurtis Roberts was the next highest Michelin man....=).

After many years of seeming limitless luck....last year Vale fought the bike
and rode around the chatter gremlins for most of the year. This year, the
bike's pretty solid...but Michelin can't seem to get the tires right unless
the weather is perfect. Between Casey's riding, the new Duck and the
'Stones...Vale's got his hands full for the rest of the season. Hope Assen's
dry for the sake of the racing. Rossi's late braking this year has been
un-freakin'-believable!

cheers,

Fred

Stoner's ride today has all but clinched in terms of my being impressed with
his new found maturity
