[Ducati] 748 rear brake issues

I removed the caliper, 2 bolts and the brake line channel cover from
on top of the chain guard and it comes off with plenty of slack to
hang it up on a post or something over nite, I crammed a box end
wrench between the brake pads, then it takes no time to bleed the air
out. It seems to happen just after winter storage, someone suggested
putting a little tension on the foot brake over winter to prevent air
from getting in, probably from the cold/warm in the barn I keep it
in. Perhaps the materials in the brake master C expand/contract at
different rates, I think the brake system has a slight vacuum and it
sucks air in this way.
