Michael,

If your gonna do it, go for the hot  rod of the bunch - the ST4s.  That is 
what I wanted, but settled for  an ST4 with added Ohlins and all the goodies. 
I 
love the ST4, but it sure  would be nice to have that 10-15 more horsepower. 
Especially since the  used prices have come down on the "S".  Remember, the 
fairing 
changed  after 2003. The newer fairing may be more functional, but I think 
the  
1998-2003 fairing is better looking. Just my very humble opinion, of  course.

Take it from my better half, if you don't get an ST with the  rear trunk, get 
a Corbin with the back rest. I have owned several  different two-up bikes and 
she likes the ST the best...  with the  back rest.

BTW, way to go keep'in it  Ducati.
