[Ducati] SBK homologation rules

All of you had some interesting comments for the most part..

But I think they mostly missed my point.

If the rules are in place to make the racing "fair" then the 
production quotas should impact each manufacturer similarly.  Ducati 
making 5000 bikes impacts Ducati FAR more than Honda (or Suzuki or 
Kawasaki) making 5000 bikes.

Honda could probably decide to roll out a new model and have 5000 
bikes made in a day.  It might take Ducati 3-4 months to roll that many out.

On average, Honda makes about 30,000 bikes ~~ PER DAY~~ (based on 
over 10 million sold per year)

in 2006, Ducati sold just over 30,000 bikes for the entire year.
