[Ducati] New Denver Noise Law Allows Tickets for Having

I was in Scottsdale this past March during their Bike Week and it was
absolutely unbearable. We were staying at a nice resort right off
Scottsdale Road and the Harley guys would cruise up and down Scottsdale Road
all night. It had a huge affect on my holiday and I certainly would not
return to Scottsdale during Bike Week. I love riding my bike but I wouldn't
fire it up and ride up and down my street at 1:00 AM.

It is an unfortunate situation because we all love how our Ducati's sound
with aftermarket pipes but I think it has reached the point where there has
to be some form of regulations.

Cheers

G.

There's a pretty amusing Folk song about that by a guy named David Stoddard
called "Harley Guy". For the record I'm not Harley bashing but I doubt
there's anybody reading this that after hearing the words of the song, will
find themselves unable to relate at least a little. For sure, you've never
been to Daytona bike week where they storm by all day and all night with no
hope of 5 straight minutes of quiet.

Of course the authors of the law probably had Harleys with straight pipes in
mind when they wrote the law....They piss me off too as not only are they
loud and harsh but the owners insist on riding them as loud as possible for
that real outlaw feel. I like to save the sweet music of my Remus for the
open road and ease around town so as not to annoy the natives. Moonbeam
