[Ducati] 900 SS Clutch Question [more]

I have a '96 M900. The clutch started slipping a little and making a
lot of noise when I was releasing it. I got a Barnett pack, just the
plates for the inside and springs that were stronger, and have not had
any problem since. At the time the bike had about 15K miles.

I have a couple of friends who went for an after market slave that has
a bigger Outside Diameter and they reported having a lot of trouble
finding neutral when stopped. I got an inside cylinder for the slave
that has an extra "O" ring so it will not wear out the ring that works
too soon and while it has a harder pull with the stiffer springs I
love it. And on top of that I can find neutral easily, all the time.

I cut up the cover for the clutch so that you can hear it real good,
it may be cooler but I cannot tell. I also hand polished the pressure
plate that came on the bike, it looks very nice and just took a little
time and some dremmel pads.

Life is good on a 900.
