[Ducati] 900 SS Clutch Question

The main thing I can think of would be less rotating mass with an alloy
basket. I noticed my M900Sie wound up quicker once I swapped the basket
out. Of course, it made leaving the line requires a touch more care than
before.

That is all...

Subject: [Ducati] 900 SS Clutch Question

Hi Group,

I have a stock 1997 900 SS/CR that I enjoy very much. I am considering
replacing the friction discs and springs as the clutch starts to fade after
long rides.

I see lots of cool looking clutch products from folks like Cycle Cat.
Besides the aesthetic considerations, are the performance advantages of
replacing the whole thing (basket, etc.) vs. new discs and springs for a
pleasure rider?

Thanks much,

GP
