[Ducati] Need info on IAW 5AM ECU

I just learned that my 2005 S2R has the IAW 5AM version ECU rather than the anticipated IAW 59M.  Very strange as this is one of the early S2Rs off the assembly line, so I'm not sure how it got a Euro 3 compliant ECU.  Is there anything significant to know about the differences, other than I likely have a lambda sensor lead tucked away somewhere?  Still not reprogrammable, right? Please tell me I'm wrong . . . .
