[Ducati] 916/996/998 underseat heat

I think it has at least a little to do with what you get used to. When I  got 
my 916 and it was new it seemed pretty hot. But I  got accustomed to it. Then 
I got a 916SPS and it was a LOT hotter, in fact  I rode it in jeans and it 
actually cooked my legs, I had big red welts. But I  got some high socks and put 
on the leathers I should have been wearing in the  first place and before 
long I didn't notice it (much) again. But I do remember  that I thought it was 
uncomfortable and wondered to myself if it would  be a problem.
