[Ducati] 916/996/998 underseat heat

Hi there,

New to the list, and new Duc 996 owner here.  Former racer in the
NorthEast, living in Bethlehem PA now...blah blah blah.

Rode her home 100 miles last night, and my bum is still burning.
What's the secret to alleviating that?  I've ridden a few Japanese
bikes with undertail exhausts, but never had the same amount of heat
that the 996 is throwing.

Do you all just install this?  Seems reasonable to me:

Any help/advice is appreciated...I checked the archives, but they're
almost impossible to search with the way they're archived.
