[Ducati] CBS Coverage- Today's MotoGP Race

Nope...it's the same feed that's broadcast on Speed. I don't know that the
'coverage' that's broadcast on Speed....has anything to do with Speed, other
than their purchase of the package from Dorna. In F1, the Speed announcers
are Varsha, Hobbs, Matchett and Windsor. When they get broadcast on network
tv, Fox, they contract the same announcers. With MotoGp, Nick Harris and
crew are part of the Dorna broadcast...and don't work for Speed. I hesitate
to even comment on yesterday's coverage not really wanting to say anything
negative....but again, I thought it was really poor. Schwantz is clearly
knowledgable....and may even be more interesting and animated if he had a
pro's lead to follow. That Medders guy clearly doesn't understand the series
and has zero passion. He consistently states the painfully obvious, 'there's
racer A following racer B', 'oh look, there's racer C'. it's a snore.

cheers,

Fred

Hmmm, I don't think CBS has any control over the feed- that's MotoGP. My
comment wasn't that the coverage wasn't terrible, it was that it was an
improvement from the last race they did. It shows they at least have the
capacity to improve.

Is it Speed TV's coverage? No. And it's certainly not like anything
available in Europe. But that wasn't my point.
