[Ducati] 996 rear ride height

Duc friends,

I am a short dude so some time back I lowered the rear ride height by
shortening the link about 1/8".  Didn't measure it at that time.  It made
the bike a little sluggish at turn-in but otherwise worked fine except when
doing two-up trackdays when the rear tire would rub on the exhaust pipe.
The shop manual says the length between bolt centers should be 261mm.  I
just lengthened the link to 263mm.  Those of you who know about these
things, do you see any problems with this?  Thanks in advance for your
