Sure, he could be your guest. I'm not certain what a code card is but I  
would think his receipt for the last races he entered with a name that  matches 
his ID would probably work as well. It just has to be something that  shows you 
have a Ducati and that your name matches the one on the paper of the  bike. 
Like I said, they want the owners to get in, and they aren't trying to  make it 
complicated.  The people at the entry desk are other Ducati owners  - 
volunteering their time because they love the marque. The last thing anybody  would 
want to see is them getting a face full from another owner over entry  
requirements when the whole point was for everybody to have fun and meet other  owners. 
When I help on the desk I have used insurance cards, titles,  registrations - 
anything fairly official that matches your name and face as  proof of 
ownership.
