This guy's blog is unbelievable! His race recap is so stinkin' good, and
informative, it's ridiculous. If he can speak....CBS sports should be
hunting him down in the Netherlands! ha!

I realize this is a Ducati list....and I'm certainly happy to see the
marquee doing so well, and Stoner riding so well.....but that ride by Rossi
yesterday was one of the finest of his career. The championship is far from
over.
I think it's easy to take this stuff for granted. Being a Chicagoan, I
recall feeling that way once Michael Jordan announced his retirement for the
last time. It was so easy to blow off whatever random game he played in over
the years....but each one was a chance to watch pure brilliance and history
being made. Whether anyone's a Rossi fan or not, we're being treated to
watching arguably the most gifted motorcycle racer of all time.
Btw....did anyone catch Stoner's bike out of fuel on the cooldown lap? At
the end of his blog entry, this guy talks about Stoner and Hayden's bikes
both running out of fuel and how that may play in squeezing more oomph out
of them the rest of the season, (2007 allows only 21 lites vs. the 22 in
2006).
It's been an awesome season so far....with a lot of great racing to
come!....not to mention the amazing WSBK championship chase that's
underway!!
cheers,
Fred
