It's finally ready to announce the details and there's lots of big news,
starting with - We're moving to Daytona Speedway! Prime real estate too -
"Ducati Village" right at the base of the Nextel Tower with Ducati parking as
part of the package.
Ok, that's cool but this is better - Cook Neilson and Phil Schilling are
going to be the Special Guests. And they have agreed to give a talk about the
whole deal back in the day - Old Blue, racing superbikes, working at Cycle.
You're just going to have to trust me on this - these guys are the living
history of the most important event in US Ducati history and being able to listen
to this story from them in person is a not to be missed deal. I have been
able to hear a great deal of this story from them in the past and I would have
moved heaven and earth to make sure you guys got to hear it as well. It's
that good and this is likely a one shot deal. No whining if you miss this, you
were warned. :-)
Concourso DucatiDayDaytona's featured model this year is Superbikes! in honor
of the 30 year anniversary of Cook's win. Since Ducati's newest Superbike,
the 1098 will be on display, honoring it's inspiration was clearly an
obvious choice. So, there will be a special recognition award for the best example
916/996/998/999 Ducati Superbike. Also returning this year is the People's
Choice award. :
Competition Classes are as follows:

Other events that will take place during the day - Ducati NA Fashion show,

Charity Auction (LOTS of rider donated items, too many to list, GP, SBK and AMA!)
and lots more. Visit the _www.DucatiDayDaytona.com_
(http://www.DucatiDayDaytona.com) website for all the details. I am updating the site as the plans
come together. I am hoping for at least one more huge thing that I am still
working on. :-) As always, volunteers are needed and greatly appreciated,
contact me directly. And please, please, please, pass the word the party has
moved. I don't want to hear later somebody missed this because they couldn't
find it......
This is our party folks. Hope to see lots of you there!
Vicki
