Be careful how you apply the heat, AL or penetrating oil do not respond well to flames or torches.  
   
  Try finding an old electric oven (recycling centers or appliance dealers) and placing it in at 150-200 for a while.  Hand held heat guns are another idea, but take longer and will not apply heat as evenly.
   
  Refrain from using wife's kitchen oven. Makes the cakes taste funny and sets off smoke detectors.
