I registered my new 749 in Edmonton two years ago without any problems. I
guess it might depend on the province?

Subject: [Ducati] Registration Problems

Hey is anyone else in Canada having problems registering there new
Ducati. My wife just bought a 2006, 749 brand new. We have had other
Ducati's in the past couple of years and even though the registries
were for some reason a little hesitant we did get them registered.
But now after talking to the dealership and getting them involved to
help, the registries are saying they need more proof of the bike
being brand new, which they say means an inspection by the cops. I am
very tired of this garbage with unnecessary red tape. Does anyone
have any suggestions. Cop inspection is not an option. I have nothing
to hide, this is a matter of our privacy being invaded.
