[Ducati] 748 / superbike bar risers

John,
I just recently installed the Cycle Cat risers. A couple of things to
note. Cycle Cat clip ons come in three heights and the tubes are longer
than stock. I first received the kit with the 1.5 inch risers and couldn't
imagine putting those on my Duc. I think my first thought "these things are
like ape hangers". I immediately returned them and got the .5 inch risers.
Which I only mounted .25 on an inch higher than stock. I don't know about
the rest of the guys but any more than that slight difference and I believe
I would run into clearance issues. Even their product support will tell you
that you can't mount the 1.5's at full height. As I have it now my hands
just about clears the mirrors at full lock. This normally would be a
problem but I'm an MSF instr. sometimes use my bike to demonstrate.
I can't tell you how much difference that quarter of an inch and the less
aggressive bar angle made! I do not regret buying them for one moment.
They have an awesome finished billet look, and look 10 times better than any
of the Heli bars I have seen. I actually think the angle makes more of a
difference than the height, but that maybe cause I only changed the height
slightly. I swear by them now. Hope this helps.
