[Ducati] 1098 (second look)

Worked for me!  I was considering picking up a used 749 and had been talking about it for some time when Motorcyclist came out with their feature.  I too was smitten.  My wife was so tired of hearing about it that she ordered a 1098 and wrapped up the paperwork for under the Christmas tree.  Imagine my surprise... It pays to be good all year ;-)   I can't wait until February!

That's hilarious, perhaps we should get subscriptions to all bike mags for
our wives that way they cant miss seeing one. Just about every mag I've seen
in the recent month has a 1098 on it's cover.

I'm with you Kevin.  Cycle World also devoted quite a few pages to the 1098.
I tried to explain to my wife why it is so beautiful and she just shrugged,
but admitted that it is "very attractive".  Hey, that's a start.  I'm still
trying to get her to understand why I need a 900 SSSP.  "You already have
TWO bikes".  Sheeee.
